Hi, I’m Katie, a wife and mom of two little ones. I felt called to create this space to document my journey in seeking God throughout my 5 year old daughter’s leukemia diagnosis. I hope that it can help others to always turn to God first, seek Him and most importantly find Him if you don’t know Him yet. Thank you for being here.

About Me
Hi again, I’m Katie. Previously an early childhood special education teacher, I became a stay-at-home mom in 2018 when our daughter Gemma was born. I am married to my wonderful husband Jacob and we also have a son named Tatum. We are also a homeschooling family located in Michigan. Our daughter was diagnosed with leukemia on May 12, 2023 at 5 years old and 4 short months prior to this diagnosis one of my best friends committed suicide. I have felt more pain, hurt, and confusion then I’ve ever felt in my entire life – however I am finding a strong sense of peace through seeking God and I felt Him calling me to share this journey now, even though it’s scary and I’m still struggling with so much that is unknown regarding the leukemia diagnosis.
